Clinical Psychology is concerned with the work of treating “sick” patients. In the broader, contemporary sense, however, clinical psychology involves teaching about, research about, or treatment of persons with any of the common mental health disorders.

Branch of psychology concerned with the diagnosis and treatment of mental disorders. Clinical psychologists evaluate patients through interviews, observation, and psychological tests, and they apply current research findings and methodologies in making diagnoses and assigning treatments.
